Indirect Hot water question

I have a Tekton Boiler. I have and Aero indirect hot water tank attached. It seems when the system fires up to replenish the hotwater there can be a 30 second to several minuted delay from when I hear the system click electrically until the burner kicks on. Also it causes some electronic interference with my television and cordless phones.

Any help with this issue is appreicated.

Thanks,

Mike

an electrician would be a good place to start .

they have a fist full of tools and are real keen on isolation of various circuitry and voltages. and Real Big on Grounding and bonding. *~/:)

Hard to tell why the delay

without seeing how it is wired and controled, chased one all one winter as it would cause interference as you discribe, my guess was from the main panel after checking all the wires conections and controls, but no the HO and THE BOSS knew better and had me change controls motors and transformer, well finally the HO hired an electrician, and low and behold the main netural wire never got tightened properly in the main panel when the wiring was redone. Time for a professional to chase it down, an electrician is a good start.

    Interference

The interference sounds like the spark ignition is doing its job, making sparks. :) I ASSume that the interference only lasts until the burner kicks on, correct?

The delay until burner ignition, I don't know about that.

When was the last time the furnace was serviced? It might be a fuel supply related issue. Have a Professional look at it.
