i have been installing a lot of weil ultra boilers. i am aware of the need to pipe in primary secondary due to the high internal restrictions of the boiler. however i have recently found it convenient to pipe the indirect fired water heater off of the bottom supply and returns with the tank in series. with the boiler and tank restrictions in mind i size the pump appropriately for the required gpm's. i find no recommendations on this setup in the manual. does anybody have any input regarding this? pictures of typical installations are available on my website at www.hansenmech.com thank you.

    Yes

I and Hot Rod answered your other post. We both do it that way, when convenient. It's fine. That's why those taps are there. Your website is decent and the work looks good. Use the same size circ for the IDWH as you do for the boiler loop on the space heating side, as a minimum.
