Buderus GA 124

I have 3 heating zones fed by 3 seperate circulators and powerd by a Vailant 93000 net BTU/hr boiler. I have baseboard radiators from the 1950's and a couple of Turbonics toe kick hydronic heaters in the kitchen. I did a heat loss on the house (using Slant Fins computer program) and came up with 58,000 BTU/hour total loss.

I am going to replace the Vaillant with a Buderus GA-124 -17 70,000 BTU/hr boiler and the ecomatic controler. The salesman said to run it all as 1 zone with the Thermostat in one place. That is replace all existing circulators with pass thru pipe, remove the flow control valves and let the integral grunfos pump do the work. I hesitate to lose the zones that I have, should I do this?

If making all one zone, it is suggested to check to see if the baseboard is sized correctly and balanced. Have a contractor check out your system. Multi-zone will work with our R2107 Logamatic outdoor reset control. If there are any questions, please contact us at 1-800-283-3787.
