I just priced 1" flow meter (1" T that can be soldered to Copper), digital, power supply not included (needs 24 V power supply).
Nice unit; can handle dirty and hot water.
A mere $1066 + shipping.
If you are only measuring clean cold water, you can probably get a rotometer for $30 - $50. It does have to be installed inline though.

Flow meter source needed
I'm looking for a 3/4 inch flow meter,( digital would be nice but not necessary), to use to show flow through a 190K input on demand Takagi water heater. I'm going to try to demo flow, gas pressure and outlet temp. If anyone can point me to a water flow meter they use I would much appreciate it.0 -

See WM Series at: http://assuredautomation.com/flow/index.php
Totalizer for metering cold domestic water.
Regular meter is $105 and with pulsed output is $160.
