    biasi boilers

We're looking for information on a Biasi Boiler with Riello burner. I inquired about a new boiler with my local store and he swears by the Biasi boiler and told me how great it was. I went on the web site to read about it but I can't find anyone who has ever heard of it. Please let me know your thoughts about it pros and cons. Thank you....Ken
  • nice unit

I have a few running and no problems yet. Great boiler for the price and it comes standard with a reillo burner.

Done quite a few of them.

Very nice installs. Good bang for the buck.

No service issues with ANY of them yet.

is also sold by Boyertown Fornace as the Solaia. We've installed two, a third is under contract and two more are proposed. It's a nice little boiler and very well supported (at least in the Baltimore area by Columbia Heating Products). Best of all, it is approved for use with oil or gas burners.

I posted the gas install last time, here's the oil one with primary-secondary and indirect.

I posted a pic of the one we did with the gas burner last time, now it's oil's turn. This one has an overhead primary-secondary manifold, 3 heating zones and a Phase 3 indirect. The old Weil-McLain was way oversized, it ran at a firing rate of 1.5 GPH and the oil-fired water heater ran at .75 GPH for a total of 2.25. The system you see here does it all at .75 GPH. That's why we do heat-loss calculations!
