Baseboard air vents

with a good air elimination device on the supply and the answer is NO Air Vents. Their good for draining and you may want one on the return to break the vaccum when servicing but not needed for air elimination.

Use only a coin vent and Stay Away for Auto-vents, your only asking for trouble.

    Hi All

I'am putting in a single pipe baseboard loop. Do I need a air vent in each room or just one at the end of the loop?
    Thanks for your help.

    Air vents

I put an air vent everytime I rise from the basement to the upstairs so basically had one in every room. It helped on start up. System had spirovent and bib cocks on returns so I really didn't think I needed them but, peace of mind won out.

    S. Miline I agree...

Who knows if it's mono-flow or what but as long as you have the proper set up to eliminate the air, you should be OK. I usually incorporate purge, to flush out boiler and then rely on the air scoop with adds air elimination controls to maintain the trouble free system.
