    I was starting to wonder if I still new how to pipe a boiler, it's been about 7 months since I did one! It was a summer full of plumbing and fire sprinkler projects for me, but now the crisp air is back and its boila time! First pics are of a 2 GB boiler veiga climate panel system I posted awhile back just finally got around to finding the finished pics on my camera. The next set are of a boiler my helper and I did this week. I wish I had before pics, it was an old weil oversized by about 30k leaks galore, co monster. One nice thing about this job is that the customer was very educated about the buderus line of products, it's nice when the person knows the value in what they are getting for a product. There where 8 zones total on this one, (4 remote zone valves and one new loop for the inderect) Still have to go back on Monday to take out the old gas hwh, finish/neaten the low voltage wiring, install a new cover panel for the st 200 tank (f'n demo guys dropped the tank down the stairs) can't really blame them though i don't even know how they got hte tank to fit. the door molding was only 26" wide at the top of the stairs so the tank wouldnt fit through the house, and the basement acsess was a little hatch with no stairs until you got about four feet in. I hit my head so many timss, what a pain. Oh and not to mention the foot and a half high dirt crawl I had to go in to run my intake/exhaust.. I am still itchy from all the insulation! This was the first job I used the AM-10 outdoor reset control on and I liked it. Very plug and play. And I also recieved a 2699f three speed grundfoss instead of the 2664 I asked for, that is one killer pump! the ultimate radiant pump it seems!

    Pretty nice job Ray.

    Couple questions;

    Where's the drain tee on the 3" pvc vent? Do you not need it?

    Are you located in MA?

    Looks like you use a similar supplier.

    Hey Ted I am from Mass out of Holliston For our heating we either use Capco Supply or FW Webb. The drain tee is located about 30" downstream of the flue connection, I couldn't put it any closer due to the intake being right below, and was not able to offset due to the additional fitting would have put me over the sixty foot mark on the vent system. THanks for the comments.

    Supplier

    Wow, I guess I was right. amazing how you can tell where a job was done just by the parts being used.

    Capco, the best hydronic supplier in Mass.
