because the Gas Co. had shut down his mothers Hot Water Heater. Seems they had high C.O. spillage.

This is what we removed. The "newer" hot water heater had a draft hood but somebody thought this was O.K. to leave in the flue connector.

    There are some still of those out in the field? I never liked them. Actually, where I work we still have them in the stockroom.

    Most are illegal

    Unless stamped with AGA or CGA stamp they are illegal. Unfortunately 100% of both are unsafe!!
