    Steam book auction...

    I have a small steam textbook I would like to donate to this cause. High bidder sends Dan their check and I send off the book.

    Published by the International Textbook Company, Scranton PA
    copywrite 1930.

    "Steam Heating" by C. George Segeler: Industrial Engineer

    It is a small book, 5" x 7.5" 83 pages and it covers "District Steam Heating" and "House Heating by Gas"

    Contains many illustrations and charts, very interesting!

    I will let this run till this Saturday 8-19 6:00pm

    And, your going to....

    love it Jeff. A lot of info on how underground piping was laid out, supported etc.

    I actually found this useful a few years back when I had to service a leaking underground steam main. It shed some light on the old dark mysterious things I saw in the crawl/tunnel.

    Here are a couple of more pics from the book.

    Being that it is 76 years old, there is every liklihood that this was penned by a member of the dead men!
