I was at Triangle Tube in New Jersey last week. I must say how impressed I was with the Prestige (the MCBA does a LOT more functions than the basic installation manual would allow you to believe!). The whole TT operation in general is first class. We were treated like a million bucks and they were very interested in any of our critiques and comments on the product. The heat exchanger on the Prestige is quite a design. It is also made out of stainless steel that is a few grades below titanium. WOW, talk about something that will last a long time. The boiler will be obsolete before it fails.
We got to see them foaming up the indirects. A litle foam goes a long way!!They have some other interesting products out there. This will be a company to watch. Very progressive thinking here. I really want to go to Belgium now and see the main plant.

IVAR
We completed piping and wiring this panel from IVAR. I was impressed with the quality of the product. The panel supplies three temps: high temp Runtal baseboard, mid temp Wirsbo Quik-Trak radiant and low temp slab radiant. The Prestige modulating boiler supplies the panel and indirect and the motorized valves are controlled by two Wirsbo promix 101's. -DF

Like the looks of that Ivar panel...
Three take offs,three temps,simple controls ...
when you use the Prestige in an application like this having long cycle high mass low temp near constant circulation does the condensing unit decide on its own to dial itself back to lowest return water temp except a call for DWH on the indirect?0 -

Hi Weez,
Thanks for the comments. This one has not been started up yet as we are waiting for sheetrock to install the Runtals. I would anticipate the Prestige will throttle back as it approaches its calculated setpoint based on ambient temperature. The mixing valves will modulate independent of the Prestige. -DF

TT
Hi Darin,
Good stuff going on at TT! James just got back from the plant tour in Belgium. I was unable to make it this time but hopefully there is room for me on the next trip. I heard of some new products coming down the pipeline. -DF
