Co analyzer Munchkin

Member Posts: 46
I have been running a Munchkin for 6 months now and have had no problems. The unit was never set up by the installer with a combustion analyzer. Do you think I need to get this unit tested with a combution analyzer even though it seems to run fine.

Always a great Idea
As Mark Eatherton states, "All equipment should be set up whether it's new or not". The only way we can be sure if the factory has not made an error or if there is a problem is to perform combustion tests yourself. That way you know where the readings are, if they are normal or abnormal. Mark I am sorry if I misquoted you but I like the fact that you are trying to get companies to pay more attention to this and other scenarios..Or maybe it was John R Hall who is drawing attention to this topic. I cannot remember.

Munchkin Setup
Paul,
To answer your question - Yes, absolutely. Munchkin boilers run well IF they are set up, they are a pretty sensitive boiler. While you have sombody there, make sure they check out and clear the condensate drain.
