Undersized boiler and bad tubes

Neither system had a energy management system, the Les boilers were pipied in a primary secondary arragement. With the Burnaham another contactor tried to install a pump to bypass water to pump from the supply to return.

I have seen a couple times where a undersized boiler was installed and then the tubes keep getting replaced several times. I can see there being a problem with condensation and rusting of the tubes and tube sheet but these problems seem to be with the tubes at the tube sheet. Has anybody run into this? Of the two sites I have seen this with one was a Burnham and one was a LES

By your description I would presume that you are referring to large commercial scotch marine type boilers. With any of these boilers as is the case with most boilers, it is important to keep the proper flow rate through the boiler as well as the proper temperature rise. Am I safe to assume that there was not any sort of bypass system or blend pump setup installed on these boilers? Am I also safe to assume that there is either a building management system utilizing some sort of temperature reset schedule?

    i would look,

at the temp setting high limit and the specifications of the tubing....the expansion and flow rate...for starters.
