Need help reading gas meter
Anybody out there know how to gauge daily natural gas by reading my meter? My bill shows that it is sold in 'CCF times Therm factor of 1.130 = Therms used'. ?? So if I look at the 1000 feet gauge on my meter, what would that tell me? Is 1000 feet one therm? Or is 100 feet one therm? I know I should call the gas co. but they're billing dept. is closed for the weekend. Any help appreciated. Thanks.0 -

gas
1 cf = 1000 btu's, 1 therm is 100,000 btu's so theres 100 cf per therm0 -
Unless...
you're in Denver, where a cubic foot has 830 btu's...
