we don't have alot of old steam systems out here, so what is common to you guys is not common to us. If we get this job, I told the owner I was going to go out and buy a digital camera so I could post some pics of the house and some of those grand old rads

help on circa 1878 rads

doing an EDR calc for a steamer replacement and need help on edr on a couple of old rads. One is 2 column 13 section 36" high and looks like the porcelan isolators on high tension power lines. The columns do not appear to connect at the top. Have a six sided nut cast on top and appear to screw into the base. Have another that is a 2 colum 12 section 33" high by JE Reed Radiator Co. The third is a 2 column 16 section 32" AA Griffing/ Bates & Johnson. Also a 2 column 18 section 36" pipe rad, I know these have been posted before, but don't have that info

If we get the job

I will definetly get a digi-cam. They did open the home for the home show last year, so even if we don't get it, I will try to get pics. The house had been restored very nicely by the previous owner, and is VERY nice.
