steam valves
We are trying to help some the local churches with there heating costs by installing isolation valves, so they can only heat areas as they need them. These are 6"-8" lines at about 5lbs. operating pressure. The lines leak and we weld in repairs as necessary. I have been installing remote controlled quarter turn butterfly valves to help control costs. I rebuild the gate valves when I can.Is the use of the butterfly valves proper.0 -
