    Munchkin Cond. Trap

This may apply to the Peerless units of this type as well. Use a long nose pliers to reach up from below to squeeze the clamp that is hidden up inside. Use safety glasses since its one of those buggers that will fly across the room. When re-installing the condensate line you might need someone to hold the heat exchanger in positon. In the event that the unit filled up with condensate check the ceramic refractory on the front and rear walls to make sure it did not fall apart. By the way, there is an O-ring on the front cover that is not shown on the drawing. Should you need to change the front refractory get a burner gasket as well since the burner has to come off to change it. Have plenty of WD-40 ready since the screws will probably not want to come out and take care since the burner flange will crack easily. Good luck.
