Last week end I helped my brother install this boiler. The carlin ignitor lasted exactly one week. I replaced it today. I really like them and have had good luck until now. Completely dead no spark at all.

Carlin Ignitors
Hi Bill,
A few years ago on occasion a Carlin Ignitor would blow a hole the size of a quarter above one of the springs. They rectified this by putting a fuse inside. It rarely happens but if it does the fuse prevents the hole from happening. Just like a new computor solid state parts sometimes frustrate us.
