concentric vent

A couple weeks ago I asked for advice on a concentric vent that was sucking in exhaust and leaking water out of a high eff. boiler. I got a few ideas from you guys that were much appreciated, and I just want to let you know what I found.
The combustion air enters the vent at the 6 0clock position, to raise it above the 3 and 9 position would have been a major deal. It would have been easier to just run a two pipe system. While looking the situation over, what I found was that the exterior piece had come dislodged and was not snug onto the 4" pipe. We are talking about a 1/4" gap here. I pushed it back on and the problem dissapeared.
I want to thank you guys again for taking the time to respond to my question.
