Check out the column ads at the right!
I just realized (Duh) the nature of the Google pop-up ads at the right use noun sensitive thread words as the basis of which ads are popped.
Scope it out. The Airbus thread produces :"Buy your own Cessna" ads.
The default ads, where the thread "title" is nebulous, results in actually popping ads regarding "thread and sewing et al"!
How kewl is that! Am I the only one who pays no attention to the ads anymore - and, never realized they were topic related?

Google is VERY cool the way it targets customers without being obtrusive.
It's usually much better at making the topic appropriate than suggesting sewing thread.
As many of you know, the advertiser is charged only for the "clicks", and he can limit the # of clicks per month. The website host gets a cut of the advertiser's fee, so it's a win-win and the average consumer isn't bombarded like on TV.There was an error rendering this rich post.

How bout.
Typing in your phone number. It will tell you who it is, the address and directions to the property.
Scary the info you can get on-line.

when I read it
The ads were talking about depression....
Do you need drugs to combat that depression in your life?

*~/:) .How come they never advertize Nuclear Powerplants?
What they think we cant BUILD YOUR OWN NUCLEAR POWERPLANT?0 -
Own Nuclear PP?
Hey, that is an old idea, Pons & Flisheman (m/s) but you remember that. Home made nuclear heat in a bucket! Well It aint dead yet! there still is some research going on in that area. Look up "Cold Fusion" in Google & or Ask Jeeves. Too many people are too quick to put down others. Its a media thing. No matter what anyone does, good or wrong, the media is ready and quick to take the opposite side and declare their journalistic endeavor correct. Like Dan Rather,& CBS. for an extreame example. The Cold Fusion thing may have really happened to those guys, and conditions just not exact again for the same result. Its been a long time and who knows, me for one I shall not discount any item untill time has passed!. Look how long and persistant two nutty byciclists did to get the A380 built? and Bell, and Edison. Non of that was instant, and had the media been there, up their collective noses, we may yet be walking & talking in the dark.0 -

Cold Fusion
I think Pons and Fleischmann have acknowledged that they had made an error. However, see;
http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v434/n7037/full/4341057a.html
This only got one column on about the sixth page of one of the newspapers here. I think they're afraid of publicising it after the last cold fusion fiasco. I had to check the date to make sure it wasn't 1st April.0
