    Flue sheets on powermaster boilers

Does any boiler contractors have a way that they estimate installing boiler flue sheets at the rear of a boiler. For example..Powermaster boiler that is 3/4" thick and appoximately 216" of cutting , fitting and welding.

not to many boilermakers alive these days...just wondering, why cut out a 3/4" tube sheet, sounds like lots of fun, dont ya just love the smell of 7018 burning in the morning...pricing that job is based on what it cost you to run your business and make a profit, certified welders are not a dime a dozen. break down your job in segments and couculate the cost of each segment, put it all together and dont forget to factor in your profit...dont forget some fudge.

I have installed many flue sheets in my 27 years as a boilermaker. Never had a problem before..I was just looking to see if anyone had a multiplier for installing one to get a more accurate estimate of how long it takes to install one.
