For serving our country.

I bet there's not much short-cycling of those units :)

    Seabees in the Desert

    Heh Guys,

Well I have been in Iraq for about 6 months so far. It has been hotter than hell and all we have been doing is working on AC units as you would suspect. Its not too much unlike the US except that the AC's are different voltages. The biggest challenge is parts and tools. We do what we can with what we have. The average temp this summer has been 120 or so every day. It hasn't rained since April so everything here is dry. All in all this is a very unpleasent place to live so we do what we can to make life bearable with conditioned air, power, and potable water.

I should be home by late fall or early winter just in time for replacement season. I really miss hydronics more so than I thought I would. I hope I didn't get to rusty. I have my Modern Hydronics 2nd edition to keep me up to speed and as always the wall is entertaining and full of knowledge.

If I can take anything out of this is to be thankful that I was born in the US. All I can say is I have a deeper appreciation for my American Freedoms.

    Be home soon,

    Justin

Be safe. Next time you hear one of the flying fortresses overhead, the engines keep rotating because a cousin is helping to keep them fit at a base is SA. My nephew heads back to Baghdad in a few months.

    120 degrees... but it's a \"dry heat\"

You know, babies crying sawdust, chickens layin' fried eggs, small animals bursting into flames...
I don't know how you guys can stand it. Everyone should visit a 3rd world country to better appreciate America.
Come back safe! And watch your back- "the religion of peace" is dangerous to infidels like us.

Braving the enemy and the weather

In 120F weather, I am sure the pleasures of air conditionning feel as sweet as the freedom we all enjoy thanks to the brave men and women like you.

I look at the pictures; I am rather perplexed... I thought for sure you'd be using a bazooka to fix the rebel machine :) Anyway, whatever works.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks

Thank you for your service. I get P.O.'d when we hardly ever get to see so many brave Americans over there doing good works. We just get hear the bad stuff. Keep it up, and we'll keep you in our prayers for a safe return. I see package units are most popular there....

Hopefully you will never have to use the pistol, well other than as a hammer!

Hmm, one of those might make collecting payment on service calls quick and easy...

Get r done and get back safe,

    Thank You for your Service!!

It takes alot of sacrifice to put your life on hold to serve your country. Thank You!

It is hard to tell from the pic, is there not a magazine in your M-9? I guess you Navy guys rely on harsh language(heh-heh ).

Keep those ECU's running!! I know your "customers" are keeping you very busy.

Justin, thanks to you and your family for serving/sacrifice to our armed forces. We tend to forget or think of the people (men & women) who work behind the lines. Best wishes and hope for a safe return. THANK YOU!

I think he has two or maybe 3

Look to the left of the pistol, it looks like he is carrying 2 more mags there, and maybe one more to the right of the pistol.

    from one ole salty dog......

.....to one in harms way, may your God protect you and return you back to where you belong................[ BORN IN THE USA ] I did my tour as a SFM2 long ago, and I was proud to wear the uniform, as I'm sure you are. Lots of folks didn't like us in The Nam then, as too many here & now feel about that godforsaken land you're in. You've stood up against those that would rather we stood alone. Thanks for your Americanism. Be safe my comrade -in-arms, be safe.

Thanks for your work \"over there\"...

You and all your buddies from all the services should know that all of us support you, especially those of us who have "been there before". Keep your head down and be careful. Hope you're a short-timer! By the way, that "tool" on your belt certainly would end any pricing disputes in short order! HEHEHE!
