Great to hear from you again! I'm so glad that things have gone well for you and your family. Please don't be a stranger.

All my best this holiday season from a fellow 50-something young man.

    Older and wiser?

Today is number 52 for this "young man." It's amazing how time flies too fast when the kids are still young. So what does a 52-year-old do on his birthday? I take the family to see the latest Harry Potter movie and then dinner at Applebees. It doesn't get any better folks.

I'm blessed and happy to have the best family on the planet, surrounded by my other families and friends -- and good people like the Wallies.

    Gotta go, eyes glazing over...

    Congrats, Friend

    John,

All the best for a great birthday!

52 huh? I wonder how old you'll be when I turn 52.... Let's see.... 52, carry the 1... add 6... divide by 12...take the square root of the hypotenuse of the isosceles triangle....mulitply by the length of the gradient... and there you have it!

    I have no idea!

At any rate, have a great day and a wonderful holiday!

    Happy birthday John!

Number 49 is coming up for me in January, the lady of the house is on target for the BIG 50 and boy, am I ever having a good time with that!! Poor woman, it's a wonder she sticks around.

As far a getting all misty eyed..................just wait until you have a lap full of grandkids. I'm all teared up about everytime they come over. The 6 year old on the right said our thanksgiving dinner prayer this year. Talk about choking up!!!!.......

A person really should have their grankids first.

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Blessed New Year to all Wallies!!

    Enjoy every minute

John, I think we all have those gooey, goosebump feelings when we around our children, even when it's not our bithday.

Do you remember doing the story three years ago, about when my I met my long-lost daughter from New Zealand for the first time?

Well, I'm 56 now, she, Marieke, is 35 (went back to University and is now a doctor, proud grin) and my little girl, Autumn is 8. Am I happy ?, you bet :)

Autumn loves Waffle House for breakfast. One day, the waitress said "ooooh, are you enjoying breakfast with your PawPaw, sweetie?" Quizzical look, "He's not my PawPaw, he's my Daddy and he's only 56, my Poppee is 82".

I'm scared poopless, she,s already asking about kissing :O(
    bra's & stuff.

Gotta go make a $, she's high maint'.

    Enjoy 'em while they're young.

    Brian.
