Fundraiser for our Fire Department..................(Starch)

Hi Gang,

One of the side effects of my Village Council position seems to be soliciting people to part with their money!

The Marblehead Fire Department is holding their annual reverse raffle on September 17th, and I have been asked to try to peddle some tickets.

This is a fairly big fundraiser for the department, and the money raised goes to help buy "stuff" for their daily operations, as well as new equipment purchases. The grand prize is $5,000, and you need not be present to win. Cost of the tickets is $100, and if you decide to show up, they'll feed you a prime rib dinner!

If anyone is interested, let me know via email, and I'll let you know how to send your payment. Obviously, don't feel badly if you choose not to participate, but I and the department certainly appreciate anyone willing to invest in an opportunity to win a couple bucks, while helping out the department.
