Boiler problem

I have a Hydrotherm Hi-B85 propane fired boiler
My question is,is the low fire pressure switch suppose to have water in it? One of the clear vinyl lines from the blower assembly to the low fire pressure switch also has condensation in it.
Can you help? John

    Simple answer

Nope! Water/condensation in a pressure switch is a bad thing. It could be actual flue condensation or something as easily remedied as replacing a rusted out vent cap. Either way though you need to have someone check that little beastie out. I have seen instances where they would go to high fire without ramping up the draft blower. This causes all kinds of soot and CO problems. Those pressure switches are NOT something to make assumptions about!
