    I OWN AND OPERATE A PLUMBING-HEATING BUSINESS IN SOUTHERN COLORADO............THE LOWEST GASOLINE PRICE HERE IS $ 2.54, I'D LIKE TO GET A GENERAL IDEA AS TO WHAT YOU GUYS ARE PAYING IN OTHER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY.

    $2.41 was the lowest today, & I'm only a mile from four refineries, go figure.

    So much for "transportation costs".

    Gas actually bubbles out of the ground here (as well as cows rear ends :) So, go figure the high cost of NG.

    Our prices have dropped somewhat slightly lately to $2.52/gallon.

    GAS PRICES

    Gas prices here are 2.53/gal. It seems a little sophomoric to chide someone about their capslock.

    I was on the road yesterday (Monday) through Cadillac, Traverse City. Kalkaska. Regular was $2.64-$2.82, diesel was $2.61-$2.72.

    LP prices are all over the place ranging from $1.39 pre-buy to $1.89. Going rate for fuel oil is $1.89-$2.05. Natural gas is $.78 including all the hokey charges but utility compnaies are saying 20% increase by January.

    It takes a big chunk out of peoples disposable income and really puts a hurt on those living on fixed budget.

    Gasoline Prices

    I do not know what the gasoline prices are in the USA; but, in Canada we are using bicycles for the love of Pete. The price per litre last week was One dollar and .o4 cents at the pump and we have the oil sands in Alberta. What the cost per gallon is at that rate I really do not want to know, as it hurts ,just knowing the cost per litre. A litre ;just in case you are new to metric, is about .8 of quart. The boys in Ottawa decided years ago we needed to change to metric -- this is one of the very few measures in metric the ordinary person in Canada does anymore.

    Where about in Colorado ? I normal fill-up for $24.00 and yesterday got hit for $40.00 I've been hearing contractors changing their costs on service calls because of gas prices.

    Here in the peoples republic of Massachusetts I just paid $2.56. It used to be only my truck would take $40.00 worth. Now if it's low enough I can get $100.00 in. Not that I do.......
