Not a wet head thread -- Save the Manatees

I gave a speech yesterday to a group of 1st and 2nd graders about Manatees. The three classes had taken my advice and adopted a manatee through the "Save the Manatee" program. It is such a riot to talk to these kids and then today, to get feedback and thank you notes. I am now "Mr. Manatee" which is a moniker I shall wear proudly.

If any of you are interested, the cost of adopting a manatee, which is an endangered species, is only $35 a year for a family. Better yet, if a class of kids wants to adopt a manatee, it is only $20. In most cases, that is less than a buck a child for a whole year. And they get neat stuff, too.
