horizontal furnace

Although I am a HW guy (no pun intended), I have a Goodman horizontal furnace in the second floor of my house that vents in PVC.
I would check with the local inspectors before putting anything above a suspended ceiling in a living space: For some reason, I am not too comfortable with that.

    Horizontal Furnace

Several manufacturers have 90+ eff. furnaces that are multipositional. They are funaces you can install upflow, downflow, or horizontal. Carrier/Bryant/Payne, Rheem/Ruud/Weatherking, & Heil/Tempstar/Comfortmaker/Arcoaire are ones that come to mind. They are all sealed combustion so should be able to be installed above a ceiling. Check with local codes. You would need to have a place for the condensate to drain to or be pumped to. Hope this helps.

    As the other say

the are plentiful. Remember you'll have to have a way to drain the condensate from the secondary.
