    aquapex......

In the last few years I've done most of my new homes with aquapex. Usually the ones with 3 or more baths. I manifold the hot and cold by the water heater and route 1/2 " pipe to each bathroom group( not more the 3 fixtures) and to the kitchen. The home owners are very pleased with the rapid arrival of hot water when they open the tap. Being an old pipefitter I still have to have things plumb and straight though, as I've seen some really nasty jobs done with aquapex. I believe I've help save gallons and gallons of water that was wasted waiting for the shower to warm up. You still have to use proper pipe sizing, etc. But no complaints here.

    Aquapex

I have been using it for over eight years and have not had any problems with it. Wirsbo is a class act and has excellant product support and promotion.
I went to theier school in 1997 and it was very professional and informative.

    Heatway pex

No problems with Heatway on heat or water. I have been using the crimps for about 6 years and just tried the cinch clamp too. I like them both. As always with something new like the cinch, I tried it out in my own home first. They work great for me. EJW

    aquapex

Not to mention the time savings. Aquapex can usually be installed in half the time or less depending on how you do it. You'll love it !

    Pex

1)Is 1/2" enough for a 3-piece bath group seeing the I.D of the fittings are so small. 2)Can you make "T" connections in the wall w/ aqua pex or must they be "homeruns" 3)Can you make homeruns (hot and cold)w/ 3/8 aqua pex?

    residential ....

Here the code allows you to supply one bathroom group with 1/2" pipe provided you are able to maintain pressure and volume required. The pipe sizing chart will give you the maximum lenght of run and pressure requirements. I will route a cold and a hot and tee to each fixture as I go along. Check a pipe sizing chart if you have a long run or are going to a second or third floor. It may take a little more material, but what a satisfied customer when they crank on the shower and it"s ready to use!
