Open Radiant Systems

Type in "open system", radiantec" or leigonella" (sp?) in the search, and you will have plenty to read about open systems.
In Canada, I believe the standard has changed so that it can no longer be done. I don't believe in open systems so I don't do them, so I never looked into it too closely.

Open Radiant Systems
I am thinking about quoting a radiant system off of a tankless water heater. It will be a open system. What are the pros and cons of an open system? The space already has heat from furnace, so this will be a floor warming only. The Tankless is a Rinnai commercial heater. And I plan on using a radiant panel from a company called ecologix (see attachment).
