I have forced air in the rest of the house but can not add anymore ducts to it. Someone suggested a hydro unit (Huh) I am not sure what that is my contractor mentioned. The room is 18x20 with 12ft ceilings. It was also suggested that I put one of those split duct wall air conditioners but they look horrible. The hyro-unit mentioned seems like it might work because the unit is outside, does it need duct work though?hmm.0 -
Free standing gas fireplace
Regency and vermont castings make a number of free standing gas fired fireplaces. Used one in my rec room. does a beautiful job, and gives heat when there is no electricity.
