Hoping somebody might know the OD on the Wirsbo PVC bend support for 1/2" PEX (PN A5500500). This is the 90° elbow to protect PEX exiting a concrete slab.
I'm wondering if the wall thickness is less than on Schedule40 PVC conduit.
Many thanks.

Any chance you have one kicking around you could measure for me?
Much appreciated.0 -
Bend Supports
You can use standard PVC electrical bends 3/4" for 1/2" tube or 1" for 5/8" tube.

Thanks Stacey...
... I'm trying to find a 90° sheath/sleeve for 1/2" PEX that's less than 7/8" OD. As you know, the OD of 3/4" schedule 40 PVC is a little over an inch.
My application's somewhat unusual and involves boring holes in existing concrete, so I'm trying to keep the diameters as small as possible.0 -
Here is an idea for you
I build my own bend supports from 3/4" PAP scraps. This Kitec runs around 1" od. Can't beat the price, and I never run out of them at a jobsite.
I think regular 3/4" pex is a tad smaller OD but not as good at staying bent

sleeve
You are going to need to go much larger than the sleeve size, depending on the thickness of the concrete anyway, to snake the radius thru. Unless you start out with straight and heat and bend as you go.

Now that is a cool idea!

support elbows
that's what we use here at Alaska Goldstar, the electrical conduit elbows - ed0 -
Wadda ya' know...
Turns out, at my local supplier anyways, that the Wirsbo part IS a Sch.40 PVC conduit 90° elbow (w/o the belled end) from Carlon.
I've got a piece of 3/4" PEX so I'm going to give hotrod's homemade-elbow approach a try.
Thanks to all for the help.0
