    ...and protect them, too

We found a man in our neighborhood who is a registered sex offender. We drove by his house with the kids and were shocked to learn that he is married to the mother of one of our daughter's school chums [the name didn't register at first because the mother never took his last name]. What an eye-opener. Despite the circumstances of his arrest and rehabilitation, our daughter will not be visiting that house again.

How do I get a hundred?

Thanks Dan...what a great button! How much for one hundred. My daughter would like to sell them to raise money for the tsunami victims.

    Hug your kids

I saw your article in Hydronic Memories and this came upon this written by you
    >>My father used to sit and tell me about the day when the steam came to the tenements in Yorkville.<<
I was out searching the net for articles about Yorkville for my Yorkville photo and news site. I will post your link on there. Loved the poem. How well I remember the steam heat coming up every morning in our tenement apt on 87th St about 6:oo AM. I lived in Yorkville in the 30,40 and 50's. Those were the good old days. We got lots of hugs from our parents then too.
I didn't see your email address so I hope it was alright to stop by and post here just to say hello to you.
    Thanks for sharing
    Bridget
