by more than one taco zone valve I series R ? if so larger wire must be the order of the day...and if the Pump block and 3 way s are the same sensor....would parraleling three pump blocks or three 3 way mixers work ?just asking as the out door sensor will see the same thing however what are the parameters on resistance of the wires ? i would like to tie three of these tacos together on the outside sensor...about 6' away ...maybe when putting many appliances together it would be a better deal to have only one outdoor sensor...as it then would have the same value when intergrated into a computer system....right ? wrong ? logical?

    Just guessing, but...

inasmuch as tekmar is manufacturing their logics, I doubt you can gang up. You could however, get some strap on sensors which have the same characteristics as their shielded outdoor sensor, and hide two of the under the shilded cover, run 6 conductor to it and only "see" one sensor...

:) thanks Mark :) Your probably right make radio shack the

sensor designer :) one sensor box would look alot neater as you are suggesting also,as would one wire, as would one in put however like you say maybe three is the way to go with each individualized control ...i need to get this part of the designe down for a job later this year the computer might not like three varing outside readings when it is only needing one input....that one in put could be used for coils, hrv's ventalation lighting...see, what my line of thought is though is if i only need one piece of accurate information and i have numerous in puts ....er ...might confuse computer :)

    sensors

You could use a tekmar 083 . Has up to 3 10k sensors. Install in a 070 enclosure.
You then would have 4 sensors under 1 enclosure. Regards, Gary Jansen

    Sensor wires in parallel

When multiple controls/wires are run to an individual sensor (thermistor), a parallel circuit is created. Analagous to running resistors in parallel, total resistance is decreased, giving a false reading.

Tekmar is going to have a RMB that will share a sensor

I was at a Tekmar seminar today on their new tN4 controls. These things look way cool.

Everything is networked together. One outdoor sensor for everything. And it's modular so you get what parts you need.

Each bus can have a master t-stat, if you want, and it can control the timing for all the other stats or not as you choose.

The bad is you can't get these until this summer.

I heard this...we will get the class in july or august...

Thank You again...i tried to talk my friend into getting some here buh i dont think that will happen :) and Hey! i am optomistic :) every time tek mar came to town id say well i reccommend you get a control that incoperates heating and cooling...ok ten years of nah thats a dumb idea...:) who would want that anywayz ..some PeoPle... :)...sheesh! so i bought into taco and caleffi and ok :) i think they seem to already "Got" that ...and Bill seemed like one heck of a great spokesman for the caleffi...so,i am thouroughly into (commited) to this installation....once i have it Pumped in and lashed up...i belive that i will be able to monitor the install from my lap top and determine what if anything needs attention and maybe some way to circumvent a minor technicality while i chase down the correct part to repair the zone or circ or mixer or whatever :)God is Good to me :)
