Munckin lockout

I have a T80 that locked out for a customer two nights on f9 which is flame proving problems.Gas pressure is above min specs incoming. Condesate is clear. This only has happened at night then runs fine for a day.Checked microamps and that is fine.Company tech support said gas mixture was too lean at 8.5%co2 and said to raise to 9.5%co2 which I did today.I will wait to see if they call back but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

    My T80 munchkin

locked out on F09 with flame present on initial startup due to moisture gettig inside the ignition control from water dripping onto the boiler during installation even though the covers were in place. As far as set up, if your boiler has a Dungs gas valve your better off going to the Karl Dungs website and looking up the valve model to get the complete set up proceedure as I did. Mine is now running right on specs.

The Munchkin is the first gas appliance that I've worked on that if you set the manifold pressure to name plate specs. and set the burner to max. rated input on high fire your CO2 and CO readings are way off. I think my CO sensor ended up in my neighbors back yard somewhere because the initial reading was so far off within the first few minutes when it first fired up.

Hey Deuce you dont have to be such an ###hole I have been in this trade for 8 years and do know what I am doing and complete a full co and comb test on all equipment I work on. A little more class on your part would be more helpfull. This boiler has been in service since last June and this has only been a recent issue this week.Ihave not heard back from the HO with it locking out so it may be fixed. The adjustments I made were from munchkin tech support. Ed I would like more info on the website do you have an address when I did a search I could not find it.Thanks

    go to www.dungs.com.....

click on English ( unless you sprechen Deutsch), click on Products, click Manuals, under Product Group- scroll down to Domestic Gas and oil controls, under language scroll down to D/GB/F/I click on view, then click on Gas Bloc. There are different types of valves listed. My T80M boiler has a GB-WND...D01 listed on page 11 of 16. I tried going directly to www.dungs.com/media.php/pdf/228515.pdf but it wouldn't go through.

It would be a much more productive thing to give good advice and not make negative comments.
