New Honeywell Relay?

I don't get into the field much anymore but a relay we just ordered had to be special ordered and looks like a great one-size-fits-all, "killer app." device.
Honeywell has taken the higher amp rated 89 relay and the extra "cold" contacts of the 832 and combined and enhanced them and enhanced all other aspects as well, with an internal T&T (jumper)test switch, bumped up the contact load rating to 15 amps full load, put in a 1 amp 24 volt load side replaceable 1A fuse, and have dropped the price to ~$45.!
When is the last time anyone offered more - for less?
The new model #? RA889A

That has been around for
some time. You can actually just get the R8845U and that will replace everything. It is also a printed circuit type control like the R889.0 -
Why didn't you
tell us about it sooner then?

I'm into my second year of teaching these, as is Timmie!0 -
Simple truth
I tell everyone about these every time I do a Hydronics Control Systems class. If you come to class it is amazing what you can learn about. Come for a week in April and we will unveil some amazing things for everyone to enjoy.
There is more to this business than just piping and systems, the controls make it even more exciting.0 -
