GB 142 install pictures

Here's a GB I've been working on for a week now. This house was heated by electric baseboard, we came in and installed 15 buderus panel radiators and one piece of runtal baseboard. Each peice of radiation had it's own t-static valve. We chose the 2nd floor to use as the 'comfort zone' and the basement as the 'on off' zone w/ the use of a taco ESP zone valve. We also installed a 53 gallon buderus st200 inderect tank w/ a sparco mixing valve. (I didn't realize I cut it out of the pic of the boiler... o well) I will get some better pics when i go back next week to finish the gas piping, pipe the 30# relief line down, and label the rest of the manifolds w/ a label maker.

Nice
Nice job Ray. Doesnt it feel weird to work all of that piping so low to the ground now?

Nice and Neat Ray
Your work is neat and organized, very nice. That system you are installing is a classic example of Euro hydronics. Your customers will be very comfortable and loving their fuel bill. We haven't done a panel rad house in a while, I'm jealous.

Ray,
Ray, Ray, Ray nice work!
Is that a Raven fitting on top of the expansion tank? A threaded by sweat reducing tee?
Why so many transtions from sweat to thread to press, etc in 007? Seems like a lot of hassle?

Hot Rod, the tee for the exp tank is just a 1/2 copper x 1/2 female x 3/4 female 'water heater' tee. put the boiler drain there so that when the exp tank needs to be changed, the pressurized water won't make a mess. IMO you can always tell when in installer does a lot of service work as well.. and I do alot of service, so I like to isolate everything. The piping for the inderect was kinda a 'jumbalia' if you will of fittings... i kept my purge station IPS 'cause of the pre piped header was a c/m adapter... and going into the inderect tank was a sweat ell and female adapter cause I was outta pro press x female adapters. that's the only down fall to the pro press... I stock 0 propress fittings on board my truck,so if i don't order EXACTLY how many i need I'm outta luck... Thanks for the response... BTW did you check out the sweet pipe bending job on the backf low relief line? my $30 emt bender worked wonders lol... one of these days i'll get into using the REMS tool like you, then i wont tto worry about running outta fittings at all, i'll just fab them up!0
