Wallies:
I have a customer considering a glycol Snow melt for a critical part of an entranceway, he would like to have it "sense" snow on the ground in adddition to OAT to turn it on. Any Ideas?

    portable snow sensors

I have a couple of guys that always seem to get "sick" or have "personal" problems requiring them to stay home when snow gets near! I guess that ain't what you had in mind, huh?

Couldn't resist. Nope, sorry about the sensors...Guess you could make one.

    Snow Sensor

Here is one that is used for satellite dish de-icing systems as well as sidewalk snow melt systems.

I have not used it, so I can't speak to how well it works.
