Ever wondered what it would be like? Here I am in 33 degree water with ice still in the port. We are doing a survival suit practice. Easy to do when the water is calm and there is radiant heating waiting.

red when in cold water, the opposite of boiled lobstahs.
And I know better than to get into the Mighty Passaic River--even in a rubber suit. Although I did drive across it last week.
This was in salt water in Maine and I wish the boat had radiant heat.
