The first requirement should be that the insurance purchaser be RPA certified and licensed. No license, no insurance; no RPA certification, no insurance. A good way to police our ranks.

can we blame insurance carriers when you look at this board and contractors are arguing about installing Rubber tubing. It has failed in the past and will again.maybe not nearly so soon but what is acceptable 15yrs, 25yrs? 30 you tell me. How about some silane method pex. We all know about Pex"a and who makes it and the longevity of it. We have all seen what some great fitting systems out there My bias is toward everloc. i cant tell you how many times i hear to expensive, or takes to long to put together, these other clamps or rings go together fast and they are cheap. contractors are all looking for less expensive or dare we say "cheaper" we all really Know cheaper means cheaper materials and poorly made. I for one, and know others agree saving a few bucks is not worth losing the peace of mind. I like to sleep at night and so do my customers. they spend the money if they know why and if they do not want to, move on let someone else compromise and deal with the insomnia. (i guess part of the problem will always be the people without a conscience who sleep like a baby).
