I am running piping to a hydro air coil off of the owners existing steam boiler i have no problem with how to pipe this system, my question is this?? how does the electrician properly wire this to the boiler? i dont want the steam to turn on when the hydro coil calls for heat, he does not know how to wire correctly and i dont want to have any problems later on. any diagram or info would greatly be appreciated.
The boiler is gas with standing pilot

grindog take a taco sr501 single switching relay; use an aquastat that breaks on temp rise and wire that inline to your wire going to to the 24v burner. that way when the sensible heat in the copper zone reachs the desired setting it will turn off the burner but keep the circ pump running. small amounts of steam may be generated but without the use of an extremely expensive, unreliable zone valve this is the best way to split your hydro loop from your steam loop.0 -

That's what i used for each zone on the last one i did. on the hyrdro coil use n.o terminal 4 for the circ pump. use n.o #5 and 6 to go down to your burner. on the line down to the burner place your break on temp rise aqua stat.0 -
