Looking for info on v-belts. What is the difference between a A49 or a 4L510 as a example. What the belt tension should be. Or if a units belt cant be identified, how do you know what belt to use.

Get a copy of Grainger's catalogue..there is excellent info in the back of the book regarding belts and how to measure for them. size of pulleys and center-to-center shaft dimensions will give you belt size....good reference book to have around.
