Sparko Powertrack

Tech found a Sparko Powertrack zone system today. Needs a valve for it. Apparently they mount on a manifold and have their own controller so retrofit to a different brand wouldn't be easy.

Aren't they still around? Perhaps bought out by Honeywell?

    They are alive & well...

Now known as Honeywell water products, and should be available from any hydronic-oriented Honeywell distributor.
The new Supervents, TRV's, zone valves, manifolds, 3 way mixers for potable and radiant plus much more. Part numbers are MZV520-RP with end switch, MZV521-RP without end switch. You don't need to drain the system to change the powerhead.

    This is it

Bill, what we need is a replacement for one of these valves mounted on the manifold. Is that the number you gave me? Thanks.

pity they are not more readily available..

as they are the best ZV's IMHO - quiet, fast-but no hammer, easy to service, and built in flow control, and very little pipe real-estate, easy to see state they are in.

the hew honeywell 50008043 series only has:
"quiet", "fast-but no hammer", "easy to service" but only costs half as much - but when you concider tee's and labor, the "sparco-track" with the "powertrack" cant be beat

    Hi, Kal...

They should now be available from any hydronic oriented Honeywell distributor. Not all will stock them (yet) but they all can get them. If you have a problem let me know. Thanks for using our products!
