Anyone have any experience with the Burnham Revolution gas boiler? Looking for a reliable DV castiron gas boiler, any input would be appreciated. Thx

It is a great boiler. There are some applications that it is better suited for than others. Tell us more about what you will be using it for.

    Tommy,

Is the Boiler suitable for an under the stairs replacement and is it quiet?

The Revolution is pretty much silent when running. Especially if it is a direct vent application. It has a really nice internal bypass that protects if from cold return water temps too.

heating applainces are allowed under the stairs. In the case of a fire you are burning your only means of escape.

You would not believe how quiet they are. I love this boiler. 87 percent efficient and cast iron, what more can you ask for
  • Well Ryan

You could ask for the Revolution II boiler in addition to the Revolution. This one is condensing at 90%+ without the need for proprietory controls such as modulating valves and the such. Take a look. Thanks for the kind words of support by the way!

Thanks to everyone for the response on the revolution! I'm very happy to hear it is so quiet. The customer has had it with his fields external power venter which is under his bedroom and driving his wife nuts. I plan on putting a Smart 30 or 40 on for DHW production, he only has one zone in a small ranch house.
