Does your installer do service work? They should be able to order the part's needed through a local supplier. It may take a few day's but shouldn't be to hard. Are you trying to purchase and install them yourself? Some companies will not sell direct to a customer on something like this...It really should be done by a pro...

    I think

Glenn will agree that changing orifices is a job best left to professional service people.

I think he will also agree that there is a great deal of diagnostic work that should be done before and after such an alteration were to take place.

But I don't want to put words in his mouth.

  • If you are a gas man

I would bet you have some in your truck. I know we stocked all of our trucks with orifices for most of the boilers and furnaces we serviced. You may even have them in your stock room at the gas company.

If push comes to shove get some smaller ones and drill them out or take the ones in the boiler out and solder them closed and then drill them out to size you need.

Make sure when you are done to do a combustion test let us all know how you make out. Good luck.
  • Burnham Distributors

I would advise calling our Representative for the NY / LI area. They are Venco Sales out of North Port, NY and the number is (631)754-0782. Ask for Jay and tell him I sent you. He can either steer you to a distributor in your area or possibly get them for you. Hope this helps.
