We offer two models...
HE 220 & 260 standard Flowthru-bypass and the HE 225 & 265 Erviracaire Elite deluxe units. They come with everything required to install them. We also have the HE360 standard and HE 365 Enviracaire Elite fan-powered models. These humidifiers all require a drain, feature eiher the basic H1008 humidistat or the advanced Humidicalc control(recommended), and feature easy to change pads. During the off cycle, the pads drain completely, so no water remains in the unit, and the Enviracaire Elite models have an Agion treated pad to inhibit algae or slime growth.
Both these items are restricted to either Honeywell PerfectClimate or Enviracaire Elite distributors. For more info, try www.honeywell.com/yourhome.0 -
I just had my contractor put two Skuttle model 2001 units in our house. They are evaporative bypass style units. The reason I asked for those units is that they have very large evaporative pads compared to other units out there, and by ordering an additional collar you can set them up with two 6" bypass ducts increasing the airflow through the unit. Skuttle says the additional bypass increases performance by about 20%. Even with the lower temperature air of a hydronic air handler, they seem to be doing a very good job so far. The only issue my contractor had was making sure the ducts were sized large enough to physically fit this unit. I do hate seeing all that water go down the drain, but that's another matter (they consume about 3 to 3.5 gal/hour which is the same as units like Aprilaire).0 -
