Copper wet return

I read on another thread about determining a clogged wet return if the water level in the boiler drops a considerable amount and takes a while to recover after the heat cycle. The wet return was replaced with copper which travels under the floor to the boiler about 10 years ago.
A new boiler was installed two years ago and the most of the "mud" was cleaned out of the return. Can sediment build up in the wet return? Is there a good method to clean the wet return?
