Why should a journalist attend Radfest?

I'm fighting with the notion of attending RadFest in Denver to report on the current state of the RPA and radiant heating for The News. Yet when I look at the agenda I don't see a compelling reason to go. I remember attending the big RPA shows when they did one a year and I got something out of those. But I'm not so sure abut these smaller RadFests.

Somebody tell me I'm being too skeptical and should go to the Rocky Mountains. I love that part of the country but I need more of an excuse to visit.

What would you like to take back?

Unless you know everything about radiant and the contractors, manufactures, and reps, probably homeowners that will attend, I'd bet even an old dog like you could learn something new!

There is supposed to be some new products unveiled at the Denver show, I've heard.

It is very easy to get to from the Denver airport, possibly a free shuttle? You should be able to get a decent airfare into Denver. I did, even from a small airport like Springfield, Missouri.

Ya don't know if you don't go :) I'd buy you a hot dog or burger if you show up :) possibly with a beverage!

what about posting some of the new products from four..

manufacturers or contractors that have designed something relevant to the hydronics industry ,that you feel is noteworthy and may possibly help direct greater energy savings on a day to day basis in our line of work.? or,three complete conversations with contractors who walk out the door with what They found to be of special interest to them at radfest? or see if they have barB Que ribs somewhere on site....because if they do maybe i will be enticed to show up some time and do your job for you just to relive you of the burden of trying to collect information and typing with all the BBQ sauce still on your fingers *~/;)

Homemade BBQ sauce? Open Pit? (I like Famous Dave's the best.)

Sure, Weez, I can use all the help I can get (so say some folks). I'll come back with some useful tidbits for all of those who are fortunate enough to subscribe to The News.
