Off to Viessmann Warwick

to Viessmann in Warwick RI for a brush-up with Vi-201 Understanding Condensing Boilers (just for fun) with Stephen David then the Wonderful Jane managed to fit me in for Friday's Vi-202 on the Vitodens with Viessmann's James Brown.

Really looking forward to the more practical hands-on stuff and review of anything is always a good thing. The Vi-201 equivalent I last had in Summer 1998 in Waterloo, Ont. led by Rich Trethewey, so a refresher is in order especially as a warm-up to the Vi-202. Never assume what you think you know....

I know many of you have taken these courses over the past year or so. Any advice or suggestions, what to expect or aspects you found particularly fascinating?

And might any of you actually be going there?

Brad

    The best part is...

... trying to stump Jim McCarthy with arcane Vitotronic settings...

But seriously, I've taken a number of classes there and Jim and Jane are both wonderful people to work with. I think that you will find the lab spaces to be fascinating, as they have their entire line-up of boilers available, and ready to go. Downstairs, even more boilers await their opportunity to spill their guts for your benefit.

I'd love to go myself... maybe once I have more time again...
