How do you remove a big radiator from a thearte space?

Again, how big? Too large to fit through theater doors?
A couple sturdy platforms with four heavy-duty casters each will move even a monster easily and surely you have enough muscle power there to lift one end and then the other to place on the platforms.
Stairs are however a problem...
Look for small threaded rods running across at top and bottom. If you seem them, remove the nuts at one end. Lay on its side and use hardwood wedges (cut along the length of the grain) and a mallet to knock apart sections into manageable sizes.
If not threaded rods and truly too large to manage and you can't find someone who wants it (try a "free for the hauling" ad) then it's sledgehammer and remove frustration time...

Radiator
I need to know how to remove a big honking radiator from a space me and my friend our converting to a thearte, we would like to do this ourselves because we have a very tight budget. I would be grateful for any suggestions btw the space is Chicago if that helps any. Thanks in advance

Honking
So how big is BIG? And what are your plans for it? Salvage/reuse/scrap? There are any number of things to do/use including copper spray paint. That's right--copper spray paint. Paint that monster copper and leave the doors unlocked. Now if you're just trying to move it, you have to catch the guys when they're outside. Remember to yell "halt" not "drop it". If you're trying to get rid of it completely, offer to watch their truck for them while they're inside...0 -
Charles thanks for the info I wish I could just do that. It is still attached and it is rather large. If you know a of company that would come in take it out for free I would be appreciate it very much even give you a couple of free tickets to a show and buy you a beer.

No, good thearte though, I am building a new thearte and in the process of demo, we have a big radiator right in the way of where our stage is going to be. We our doing the demo ourselves to save money and the radiator is pushing our limits of construction, plumbing and brain power0 -
