Tekmar 270 & Peerless Pinnacle
As I understand, the Pinnacle can use a 0-5VDC input to modulate the boiler. The Tekmar provides 0-10VDC. In reading the Tekmar manual, it allows to set Max Modulation signal as a %. Does anybody know if I would compromise anything by setting the Max Modulation at 50%? This would equate to 5VDC, but I wonder if I would give up 1/2 of the range the controller is capable of, and not give the boiler a nice smooth reset curve. The other option is to put a resistor in series.0 -
